How to Manage Unassigned Leads

SharpSpring enables you to manage unassigned leads by placing them into campaigns.  It's important to assign leads to a campaign as that is the only way to tell which campaigns are working.

The following video will show you how to manage unassigned leads in SharpSpring. However, if you prefer, a written step-by-step guide is available below the video for your convenience. 

Step-by-Step Guide on how to Manage Unassigned Leads

You can assign leads to a campaign a few ways. One way is through the gray "System Admin" button, which will display a blue number icon when you have leads in your system that are unassigned.

Another way is on the "Unassigned Leads" page itself.  This guide will show you how to access the unassigned leads page using both methods.

Assigning Leads Using the System Admin Button

Step 1: Click on the gray "System Admin" button located in the top right corner of SharpSpring.

Step 2: In the drop down menu you should see blue text that reads "Assign them to campaigns." Click on the text.

Step 3: There will be a list of unassigned leads on the page.

Step 4: Place a checkmark in the box next to the lead.  You can select multiple leads at a time.

Step 5: In the drop down box at the top, choose the campaign, in which you would like to place the lead.

Step 6: Click on the blue "Assign Leads" button.


You have successfully assigned leads to a campaign using the system admin button!

Assigning Leads Using the Unassigned Leads Page

Step 1: Click on "Analytics" located in the top navigation bar.

Step 2: Select "Campaigns" in the drop down menu.

Step 3: Right underneath the "Analytics" tab, you should see a settings icon (Looks like a gear). Click on the icon.

Step 4: Select "Unassigned Leads" in the drop down menu.


Step 5: The remaining steps are the same as steps 3-6 above. Follow the along above to finish assigning leads to a campaign from the the campaign insights page.
